David Bryant Jr. was born in the Bronx, NY in 1956. He was a curious child who loved sports and would sometimes get into trouble with his friends like any other teenager. In the Spring of 1975, David was wrongfully convicted of the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl. He served 38 years in prison for this crime. David was released from prison in 2014 after his innocence was proven using DNA evidence. His freedom was short-lived when he was made to return to prison because of a technicality in his original release. He served 4 additional years and was finally released in 2018. He has been a free man since then. 

David lives in Delaware with his dog, Buddy and is dedicated to sharing his story and helping others who have been incarcerated.
